How to do transfer contacts from SIM to Google on Xiaomi Redmi

Here are the steps to transfer contacts from SIM card to Google contacts on your Redmi.

• On your phone, find and launch the Contacts app.
• Tap the Menu button.
• Select Import/export.
• Based on your own requirement, select either Import from SIM card 1 or Import from SIM card 2.
  
• Select the account you want the contacts to be transferred/copied to.
  
• Tap Select all or select the contacts you want to transfer.
• Tap Import.
   

Note: This import method doesn’t delete the contacts in the SIM card after transfer.

Note: The steps here were written for MIUI V5, based on Android 4.2.2 on a Redmi (HM1W). If you’re having a different model of Redmi or other version of MIUI, there’s a possibility that the steps and screenshots will be different.
