How to share your Xiaomi device's Internet connection with a device that is connected to your phone using Bluetooth

The feature described here allows you to share your Xiaomi device's Internet connection with a device that is connected to your phone using Bluetooth.The detailed procedure is given as follows:  

       

1. On your Redmi/Mi,firstly pair up with a wi-fi for internet acess on your device.

2. Go to Settings.

 

3. Settings > More > Tethering & portable hotspot.

 

4. Tethering & portable hotspot > Bluetooth tethering.

 

5. Bluetooth tethering > Turn on.

 

6. Then, go to Paired bluetooth device and pair with another device to share the internet on that device. After pairing click on the ">" button of that device.

 

7. On the paired device, you’ll need to enable Internet access via Bluetooth.

 

Next, you should see the below prompt on your Redmi. Tap Allow.

By now, the paired device should be able to access Internet using your Redmi’s connection
